Recipe on Culinate

A few years ago, I submitted a recipe to a cookbook of recipes by musicians called I Like Food, Food Tastes Good. The recipe I submitted just showed up on culinate. Other than the unauthorized use of salsa roja in the picture and the fact that they shredded the pork for tacos instead of serving it as tenderloin medallions, I'm tickled.

Decemberists Live on NPR

The Decemberists will be performing our new record in its entirety live on NPR this Thursday in Austin, TX. It's SXSW (South by Southwest) time again.

These shows all have many performers, and I am just playing on a few songs. I'm excited to see the new Mississippi Studios.

It's time to learn how to play the new Decemberists album, so I have a mountain of fuzz pedals from which to choose a few sounds. So far, the Roger Mayer Voodoo Bass is going to be in there for sure for one song. Still deciding about the rest. I am also transcribing one of the basslines that is particularly hard to remember.
